We are looking for an Actuarial Analyst with a strong background in Property & Casualty insurance, pricing, reserving, and rate filing. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant actuarial experience, minimum 2 actuarial papers cleared, and strong hands-on capability in Python, GLM, XGBoost, and machine learning techniques. Experience in US P&C insurance is preferred, along with a practical understanding of US insurance regulations and filing requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Support actuarial pricing and reserving activities, including analysis of loss development, reserve adequacy, and trend monitoring. - Assist in preparing and reviewing rate filings, actuarial exhibits, and supporting documentation for regulatory submissions. - Build, validate, and maintain actuarial models using statistical and machine learning techniques such as GLM and XGBoost. - Apply Python for data analysis, model development, automation, and reporting support. - Work closely with business, underwriting, claims, and technical teams to deliver actionable actuarial insights. - Ensure analysis and documentation are accurate, well-structured, and aligned with business and regulatory expectations. - Monitor changes in US insurance regulations and incorporate them into pricing and reserving work as needed. Required Skills/Experience: - 3+ years of actuarial experience, preferably in US Property & Casualty insurance. - Minimum 2 actuarial papers cleared. - Strong experience in both pricing and reserving. - Good knowledge of US insurance regulations and rate filing processes. - Hands-on experience with GLM, XGBoost, and machine learning applications in actuarial work. - Strong Python skills for data handling, modelling, and analysis. - Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Nice-to-have: - Exposure to actuarial tools, automation, or advanced statistical techniques. - Familiarity with loss trend studies, product analysis, and portfolio performance tracking. - Experience working in cross-functional teams within an insurance environment.
