Senior Data Engineer - Databricks / Snowflake

We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in modern data platforms and AI development. This role is ideal for a profile that has built and supported scalable data solutions using Databricks, Snowflake, Python, and PySpark, along with exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Candidates should bring deep data engineering expertise and a practical understanding of how AI-enabled solutions are developed and integrated into enterprise data ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and transformation workflows.
• Develop robust solutions on Databricks and Snowflake for batch and analytical workloads.
• Write efficient Python and PySpark code for data processing, orchestration, and automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support AI development initiatives and data enablement needs.
• Ensure data quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability across the data platform.
• Work with cloud services to deploy, manage, and support enterprise-grade data solutions.

Required Skills/Experience

• 9+ years of total experience, including at least 8 years in Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, Python, and PySpark.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• 2–3 years of experience in AI development or AI-enabled data solutions.
• Strong ability to work on enterprise-scale data engineering implementations with minimal supervision.
• Joiners within 30 days preferred.
• Career gaps up to 6 months are acceptable.

Nice-to-have

• Exposure to lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, or medallion design patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD, data observability, or platform modernization.
• Prior work on AI/ML data pipelines or production support for AI workflows.
